Women of Champagne Today: Style, Structure, and Vision

  • The Oenophile Institute 1295 W Spring St Smyrna, GA, 30080 United States (map)

This class is intended for Champagne drinkers, students of style, and anyone who prefers their empowerment well-informed and beautifully executed.

This International Women’s Day masterclass focuses on the women actively shaping Champagne and the distinct styles emerging from their vineyards, cellars, and houses. Through guided tasting, we’ll study producers led by women across grower estates and established houses, examining how farming decisions, blending philosophy, and cellar technique translate into the glass.

Rather than treating leadership as abstraction, this class stays grounded in practice: who these women are, how their Champagnes taste, and what distinguishes their work in a crowded region. Expect clear context, comparative tasting, and a deeper fluency in the people and perspectives defining Champagne today.
