This class is perfect for students who’ve taken Tasting Lab I, II, or III, reflective tasters, and anyone ready to move from analysis to fluency.

Tasting Lab IV is about integration. Building on the skills developed in Parts I through III, this class focuses on pulling aroma, structure, texture, and theory together into a cohesive tasting experience.

Through guided blind and semi-blind tastings, you’ll practice recognizing patterns, weighing clues, and articulating what a wine is communicating as a whole. Rather than isolating individual components, we’ll explore how they interact and how to trust your sensory impressions without overthinking them. The goal is clarity, confidence, and a more intuitive relationship with what’s in your glass.
