Alsace, France
October 22 - October 30, 2027
Sip, Savor, & Immerse Yourself in Alsace — Join us for six unforgettable days and seven nights along France's legendary Wine Route, where the Oenophile Institute's SOIL Trip combines world-class wine education with cultural immersion. From our boutique home base at Hôtel Klé in the storybook village of Kaysersberg, dive deep into the vineyards of Ribeauvillé, Eguisheim, and Rouffach as you explore the foundations of winemaking in this storied region.
Learn from expert-led tastings and hands-on sessions at the cellars of Alsatian greats like Trimbach, Weinbach, Deiss, and Boesch while uncovering the secrets of terroir shaped by the Vosges Mountains and centuries of tradition.
Beyond the wine, experience the rich tapestry of half-timbered villages, the majestic Château du Haut-Koenigsbourg, and the authentic culinary treasures that make Alsace a living classroom for wine and culture enthusiasts. Every meal is hand-selected, every glass chosen by our resident sommeliers and Chelsea Young, and every mile traveled in comfort.
This is more than a journey. This is a transformative educational experience in one of France's most captivating regions.
We firmly believe in maintaining an intimate atmosphere for our trips, ensuring that every experience is centered around you, our valued participant. To uphold this personalized approach, space is limited.
Therefore, the maximum number of attendees for each trip is set at 12 individuals.
