Please note short 5 - 15 minute breaks will be given but lunch will not be provided.
The Champagne Specialist Course from Comité Champagne offers an in-depth exploration into the world of Champagne, covering its rich history, unique terroir, production methods, and diverse styles. Participants gain specialized knowledge and skills essential for understanding and recommending one of the world's most renowned sparkling wines, recognized globally for its quality and heritage.
All candidates must complete the Level 2 of the Comite’s E-Learning program. This is no additional cost and takes about 90 minutes. You may not sit for the course exam if you have not completed this.

Session 3: Champenois Method | Workshop: The Cellar Master | Tasting: 3 Champagne Wines
Session 4: Recommending, serving & storage | Workshop: The Wine Merchant | Tasting: 3 Champagne Wines
Session 5 Assessment: A 1 hour and 45 minute closed book exam to cover 30 multiple choice questions, 2 short answer questions, and tasting descriptors for 2 Champagne wines
Course materials may be picked up at The Vineyard Wine Market during business hours or mailed to you for a small additional fee.
