10:00am: Tasting Exam

11:00am: Theory Exam

Registration must be completed by June 7th, 2025.

This is to register for the WSET Level 3 Award in Wine Exam ONLY.

Assessment: A 2.5 hour closed-book examination comprised of 50 multiple-choice questions, short written answer paper, and a blind tasting of 2 wines.

Please read heading below to find the most appropriate instructions for registration

• Current Students

  This should only be used for students currently attending a WSET Level 3 Award in Wine course at the Oenophile Institute.

  Please use code CURRENT upon registration as your exam costs are included in your course cost.

• Deferred Students

  This should only be used for students who have previously attended a WSET Level 3 Award in Wine course at the Oenophile Institute and chose to defer their exam to a later date.

  Please use code DEFERRAL upon registration as your exam costs were included in your course cost.

• Re-Take Students

  This should only be used for students who have previously attempted the WSET Level 3 Award in Wine course at the Oenophile Institute and did not succeed.

  • If you only need to retake the tasting portion of the exam the cost is $150.

    • Please use code TASTINGONLY upon registration as your exam costs were included in your course cost.

  • If you only need to retake the theory portion of the exam the cost is $200.

    • Please use code THEORYONLY upon registration as your exam costs were included in your course cost.

  • If you need to retake both portions of the exam the cost is $250

    • Please register as normal.

• Transfer Students

  If you are transferring from a different program provider please contact Chelsea at info@oenophile.institute

  You will need to have your WSET Candidate number from your previous school to register.
