Who It's For: Blind tasting regulars ready to loosen up, sommeliers off the clock, and anyone whose tasting notes have always been a little too specific to fit inside a checkbox.
Structured tasting has its place. This is not it. Going Off Grid is our community night for the descriptors that would never make it onto a WSET exam. The regional references. The "smells like my grandmother's basement in July." The oddly specific memories, the unfiltered gut reactions, the tasting notes that make everyone at the table laugh and then quietly agree.
We pour a lineup blind, hand out glasses, and let the room say whatever it says. No wrong answers, no scoring, no structure to memorize. Just wine, community, and the descriptors you have been holding back because they did not sound serious enough.
Come with your weirdest palate. Leave with new friends who talk about wine the same way you do.
