Please note short 15 minute breaks will be given but dinner will not be provided.

If you're seeking a deeper understanding of the world's wine styles and regions, WSET Level 2 offers an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge.

• Course Details

  This course is designed to help you attain the following skills by the end of WSET Level 2:

  • Recognize the primary grape varieties cultivated globally and the different styles produced from them, including sparkling and fortified wine.

  • Interpret label information to comprehend a wine's quality and style.

  • Understand general wine cultivation and winemaking techniques.

  • Refine your tasting skills using WSET's Level 2 Systematic Approach to Wine Tasting (SAT).

• Expectations

  To acquire this certification, a minimum of 29 hours of study time is required, which includes:

  • 17 hours of instruction time with a WSET course provider, either in a classroom or online.

  • 12 hours of self-study and review.

• Assessment

  Assessment: A 1 hour closed-book examination comprised of 50 multiple-choice questions on the final day of class at approximately 7:30pm
